One of a series of paintings exploring the seven colours of the chakras, the square and the circle. Blue is a colour of calm and communication and Zen is sometimes described as an activity that occurs & flows naturally, uninhibited by mind or unconscious behaviour. The circle is often associated with heaven and the square with earth, which form an alternative yin yang symbol. Blue Zen brings these elements together in this mandala.
