I Ching
The I Ching is a Chinese book of divination and timeless wisdom some 5000 plus years old.
From observing Nature and it’s cycles the totality of Universal movement has been encapsulated into 64 parts.
Each chapter has a unique hexagram, an image of 6 broken and solid lines, representing the forces of yin and yang. Their formation indicates the energy they represent.
In a very simplistic sense the chapters represent the slices of a pie. If you dip your finger into a slice it will suggest how the energy will continue to manifest moving forward and how it got to the current position to start with. This is done by the close observance of previous energy cycles which repeat themselves eternally.
The flow of Nature and life posit you somewhere in those cycles. If you move with them you can tune into that natural flow. If you try and jump into another slice of pie out of synch, perhaps motivated by desire or fear just as an example, there will be consequences…the I Ching can indicate what they might be.
The I Ching can be used as a system of self-development to help you appreciate the cycles of life and how your unique nature needs to adapt and move with them.
